Traffic cones

Post by vondeylenfarms »

Kind of an odd add to fs17 but in all fun to play with. My issue or question to speak is for the owner of the mod. Is there a way to update it to where you can transport them? I have them on a flatbed, they slide and fall off and the ratchet straps don't go over them. Also maybe easier to tip back up? What a pain if they tip over lol

You could haul them in a tipper, then just dump them where you want them

With these, we could make obstacle courses or courses like the DOT uses to test road skills for a CDL.

I use the work van to haul my cones and toolbox, no need to worry about losing or misplacing them.

That's how I transport them....that way, I don't have to worry about having projectile cones from the back of the pickup.

^^ I think there good. They're fun to place in the middle of the road just to annoy the AI.

If using the van or pickup truck to haul them and they tip over, open the back doors/lower the tailgate, grab the cone/barrel by the bottom and face the rear of the vehicle, line up the top of the cone/barrel with the van floor/tailgate and drop it, it should hit the vehicle and fall standing up. That's how I fix them if they fall over in transport. Works well after you do it a couple of times and get the hang of the placement.
