Hatzenbichler Air Drill

Post by ClassicTractors »

I couldn't find anything regarding this question. Is it possible to fill the Hatzenbichler air drill from a tipper with the auger?

I only just had the idea of using tippers for the seed carts too after seeing it done in a Welker farm video so tested it out with a TKD 302 and that worked fine. Hopefully it works with larger tippers too. IRL you'd need the tipper to have a grain door but I don't know if that's so in game.

^^I just tried it again and it didn't work? Were you using the Seed Hawk or the Hatzenbichler? I used the same tipper as you and had the door set to the grain door.

the hatzenbichler can only be filled with pallets and refill tanks, not tippers

My bad, yeah I was testing the seed hawk and assumed that since the Hatzen had a similar auger system it would work the same. But GIANTS don't seem to have enabled the auger - the hit spot for filling with an auger wagon is so displaced and the auger doesn't animate I assume it is programmed the same as the seeders, filling directly into the tank. Shame as I do find the seed hawk an absolute pig to work with.

^^ That Seed Hawk is a challenge. You have to turn SO wide with it or you will have an encounter with a fence, rock, or the ditch.

You can use a tipper to load the Hatzenbichler... But the problem is that the trigger is like 50 feet away from the machine... Someone ****'ed it when they were making the seeder... The only way I've seen it done is on pc when they bring up the view that shows the triggers... Not sure exactly how that works as I'm a console person.

So you have been able to get it to re-fill with a tipper on console? Haven't tried it yet, but will need to soon I'm sure.

@ AgPro Farms, I don't think CattleMan has got it to work on console. The last sentence in his quote "The only way I've seen it done is on pc when they bring up the view that shows the triggers... Not sure exactly how that works as I'm a console person.". I could be wrong.

That just shows the triggers. Should work in the same area on console. I'll try check it out but God knows when I'll get time to do it.

I believe you press F5 to get triggers to pop up... If I remember correctly the trigger is way, way behind the machine.
