Joystick

So I got this joystick out of a Deere spreader that the co-op owns, and I got an idea. Would there be any way to rig this up and use it for FS? That'd be super awesome if it was possible

The way that is wired it requires 12 volt electricity which I way more than what an Xbox controller has but I believe it could possibly be done if you stripped the guts out of it and rewired it... At least for the buttons... Not sure about the joystick actuators tho... Check this out that I posted a little while ago...

With a little help from Google more info can be found on doing what I talk about in that post.

That is a sweet stick. With some work you can gut it and rewire. That would be a tough job though. I have done a similar, yet less difficult, job to get range splitter for ATS/ETS2

u can use the Leo Bodnar Bord or arduino Leonardo to connect the Joystick via usb. I have the original john deere Wood harvester joysticks and it Works without any problems on my arduino micro.

edit: und don't need a rewiring, it Work with the original wire.

I'm going to get a couple foot petals and joy sticks out of a bobcat and use it as a controller for my skid steer

Order one just to make into a joystick? I work as a JD parts rep; those hydro handles are $1,300 no joke; sold as complete assemblies only.
