Where do mods not from GIANTS go in game ?

In FS 2015 one installed mods not from GIANTS in a mod folder.
I checked in 2017 there is no mod folder.
Need some help with this

Yes there is a mods folder. Just go to fs17 game in your documents and open. Mods folder is there.

Please have a look at the following post which explains where to find the right "FarmingSimulator" folder that contains the mods folder where you can install your mods: viewtopic.php?f=874&t=97898

Only problem now how do I find mod ( John Deer tractor ) to buy this tractor
when to store and I can't see it under tractors
