I wasn't sure if this has been covered. But did anyone notice that the new tippers (the MF and Stara) that can be lifted and tipped won't tip into an auger wagon? I was going to store a bunch of cane in the huge 180,000ish capacity auger wagon, but it literally won't tip into it. Tried lifting and tipping into the Bull tipper..same issue.

That's because sugarcane isn't a fill type for any of the auger wagons.

The Randon trailer wouldn't tip chaff into the BsM 70k tipper :confusednew:

So besides dumping it on the ground, what options do we have?

Ahhh ... this is good to know since I was getting ready to plant some cane of Sosnovka. So the trains and train silos will take cane, right? Dumping it on the ground is a PITA because you have to scoop it back up, time consuming to say the least.

There is, of sorts, the Transportation Company, which is shown as one of two sale points, and you will note you don't get credit for dumping crops there unless you pull the lever to send off the train. The only other place shown to accept cane is the vegetable warehouse. I haven't tried cane on my Sosnovka map yet, but unless I hear otherwise I think I'll try it on a test map first.

I just keep having trouble with my cane harvester. I have a square field in sosnovka, and I was going to drive along the Case 8800 with a tipper, but the damn AI keeps stopping and turning around halfway down a row!

Now, that is concerning :confusednew:
I was really hoping to use them other than just sugarcane.

I wonder why Giants has limited the functionality of the platinum machinery so much.

I'm presuming the fill type has to be adjusted, bsm trailer is listed for bulk but don't know if sugarcane falls under that.
That's a very valid point cajunwolf and good thinking.

I've just brought 3 of them and their description says that they can carry sugarcane . Hopefully it will work because I have just used like 300000 dollars , including a truck.

It worked for me. I tried it with sugarcane on Estancia, and I tried it with chaff on TWC. My only suggestion would be get as close as possible and be as parallel as possible.
