But there are times when you can load a piece of equipment on a trailer (and do it right, not crooked or hanging a tire off) and it will slide off without you even driving. All you have to do is get close to it with another vehicle and it will just slide right off. BSM's flatbed hooklift does this the worst but all of them do it some. The two in game low-loaders work the best but they're not big enough to haul most combines. So I just drive stuff most of the time.
Thanks

I’ve requested this in a thread before, but someone said that Giants tried it and gave up on it. I have found that if you drive realistically and the vehicles are a good fit on the trailer, then they will stay on it.

On Xbox one, I always had to use logs to strap and hold equipment down but since the update, things stay much better by themselves when loaded. Unless I "strap" the trailer then the equipment rolls off as if it were in gear, so I don't "strap". Others have the opposite issue and some don't have any issue. For me the update made hauling things more stable, but some modded equipment seems to be missing something in the code and it refuses to stay still when loaded. Play with different trailers, some work good with some equipment while others work better with different equipment. I don't know. ;) And yes, drive slow.

And when all else fails, throw logs at it!

Would it not be better if GIANTS fixed the issue that is causing vehicles to ”move on their own” instead over fixing the straps on low loaders as a ”work around”?

That is the reason why I use harvesters with highest top speed whenever possible. So RSM 161 or NH10.90. I've modded a TC5 to have higher top speed (40kmh) for "small farm" games.

I remember just after on of the updates that Giants put out a while back, around a year ago or so, most if not all the mod equipment transports locking scripts just stopped working. :frown:
