Greenhouses (Tomatoes)

Before the latest updates, I've worked on greenhouses a lot.
If I remember correctly, on GCV, Drumard and Lawfolds.
None of those resulted in tomatoes appearing on the plant.
They had manure and water all the time.
There was just the green plant, not a single red tomato.

Just a couple of days ago, in my TVTOF save with seasons, I've seen red tomatoes on the plant.
And they didn't have manure. Just water. I thought it was fixed with one of the updates but the update logs doesn't show that.
Unfortunately, I've forgoten to water them and the plants dissapeared.
Now, I'm waiting for the tomatoes to show up again.

Did you notice that too? I mean we have actual tomatoes on the plant now.
But how? If it is not in the update logs

I've always seen tomatoes on my plants as far as I remember. Granted I don't mess with the greenhouses much.

i have always had tomatoes on the plant,even my earliest days on gcv,as soon as they recieved water, instant tomatoes till they ran out.I havent used green houses in awhile.

I haven't seen the first tomato in FS17.

Might that be something about PS4?
Because I'm rock solid on what I've done.
In Durmard, I've even waited for more than 20 in game days before giving up on tomatoes.
They just didn't show up.

In fact, this whole thing started by someone asking me the same question. Do you see any tomatoes? I was like, yes they do appear. But after I've tested this vastly I've seen that I imagined they show up but they don't in reality. Probably something related to selective perception.
Tbh, It is still a bit of a mystery to me. Do the tomatoes show up or not?

so far I only have the lettuce greenhouse. someone said tomatoes are more work but the lettuce greenhouses provide over 4 k a day and they only need water and manure every three days or so. I am playing tvtof hard with seasons on three day season. I put the greenhouse in the barnyard and it is really convenient there. chas

Same with xbox on GCV, I just don't have manure to give, but no red balls growing

Maybe I have remembered incorrectly... Previous versions had maters on the vine. Perhaps this one does not. So why would you have them now?

my vines always had tomatoes on xbone.. havent messed with them on pc as there r more advanced green houses but i can say with certainty that xbone has had tomatoes on the vines since i got the game over a year ago as it was one of the first things i got into when starting gcv and sosnovka both

Maybe it's because I just give them water on my Xbox? So manure = Tomatoes then

Whoever said that was completely wrong. Greenhouses are identical. The work they need is identical. The money they give you is identical. Only difference is the type.
