As far as I know it's the same on PC and console, but if you want to be super safe do it during winter. You could also just save right before you switch, and if you notice any problems, quit without saving

^^ thanks..think I’ll slow time down and stick with winter. Those fields on Oakfield are deceiving, even though I have the largest combine they take an age even though I’m making them more worker friendly

It should be ok to change in any season. Just don’t do it at midnight or immediately after sleeping. There is one thing to consider before changing that is especially important for harevest. You may find the new weather to be wetter so best not to change the season length in autumn

Bit the bullet and changed season length mid spring. A lot less rushing about now and gives me time to enjoy the scenery on Oakfield 😁 thanks for everyone’s advice.

Thanks a lot for this great mod!
Is there any chance of great gemands going out of sync with the seasonal demands? I play on TVTOF for a couple of years now and in the first years I got great demands for almost any crop at that day when ist was also highest price in the calendar. But in my current year (must be year 5 or so) I got a great demand for woodchips in mid-summer and wool poppped up a couple of days later ....
So the difference in days seemed to be the same from one to the other but it feels like beeing half a year too early / too late.
Is there anything I can do to reset this or was it just coincidence in the previuos years?

Edit: playing on PS4

I’ve had great demands for woodchips on that map in the summer but it’s less than half the price you’d get for a normal demand in the winter,I tend not to bother now and just sell when the price is high

Obviously that would be the right choice. But selling 700k would include the use of conveyor belts which I wanted to avoid.
I was just wondering if my savegame is kind of corrupt and if I can fix that on PS4.

As far a I know great demands are random. As for your save game I’m on ps4 playing that map and mine is doing the same..so don’t think it is corrupt

can anybody help me, I cant seem to install the seasons mod. I've tried everything. I've watched videos and everything. I install from farming sim mod hub, place in mod folder and it doesn't appear in the mod hub on the game to select. I uninstalled everything from my mod folder and just placed season in there and that didn't work either. idk what else to do. not very many videos out to help just a lot of reviews of the mod, anjd how to install mods in general, which I know how to do. have no issues with other mods just this one. also the season mod is not in my in game mod hub. I did purchase fs17 off steam.

I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.
