Do withered crops rot? I couldn't find the answer with a search so I apologise if this question has already been answered. I was going to give it a test, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I ask because there are some maps on which your AI neighbours don't harvest their entire fields, leaving unharvested (and eventually withered) crops around the edges. I often avoid planting missions for this reason. If withered crops would eventually rot away, it would nicely solve the problem.

Withering is always on. But withered will stay withered, they will not disappear.

The way to solve it, is to now have growth outside the fielddefs in the map.

That would be great, but two of the worst offenders are GCV and Sosnovka. Its not a game breaking problem for me. I was just curious.
