To us yes but manufacturers see this has promoting thier products, because the baler is a prototype it might come under a different rule and the manufacturer might not be happy with it

I could see a large hay contractor using something like that. They already use self propelled mowers/wind-rowers, why not balers? I personally wouldn't use it in game because I like baling with a tractor, but I see something like that being very useful for very large baling operations. I'm sure a self propelled square baler would be next.

Happy with the machine works, as I said manufacturers will want Thier products to be good. No one's going to use a prototype machine which may never be released on the market. You have to look at the manufacturerspecifications POV
