Upgrading for fs19?
So who else is upgrading their current systems for fs19? Today I ordered my new pc (new specs in signature) and in a couple weeks we will be getting a new Xbox One X as well.. So who else is leaping forward in tech to keep up with fs and other games?

I already did. I have the PS4 Pro and a computer, the specs in my signature. I also have a Sony 49" 4K UHD tv and an LG 27" 4K UHD monitor on the computer.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 11:45 pm So who else is upgrading their current systems for fs19? Re: Upgrading for fs19?
I built my first ever a month ago (specs in sig). And very happy with the performance.
I can play FS17 on the highest settings possible and it sits at 60fps no problem.
I can even play Pubg on high settings and get between 60-75fps consistently and that game is terribly optimised....
I'd like to upgrade in future (before fs19 possibly?) , maybe once Nvidia release the next gen graphics card whatever that may be.
But also when GPU prices come down. Because cards are eye wateringly expensive at the moment, hence settling for a lesser "budget" ROG Strix 1050ti.

Re: Upgrading for fs19?
Most likely, I will. Might not be a total replacement, though; I’m waiting to see what graphics card prices do over the summer, as well as what the game requires. Thankfully, I have a GTX1070 already, so holding on to that for awhile shouldn’t be a problem.
Probably will upgrade the remainder, though. Haven’t settled on Intel or AMD though; I’m kind of waiting to see what Intel comes up with in the wake of Spectre/Meltdown.

Yea the cards r soooooo expensive.. I could have gotten a slightly different rig with a gtx 1080ti 11gb card but its added $1000 to the ticket.. But I'm happy with what I picked.. It's a significant improvement across the board from my current rig and I'm confident that it will run fs19 with ease.. Plus now I have the option to run multiple monitors and it's VR capable and Dell did a good job making sure it's upgradeable.. My current rig would suffer on fs19 I think

I really want a 1080ti but not bad enough to drop $1K on one. I’m hoping the prices calm the heck down over the summer. The dang bitcoin miners are driving the price up lol.

Just because the original xbone and ps4 will run it doesn't mean they will run it well.. Also y I'm replacing my xbone with the xbone x.. I personally want the best gaming experience I can have and I'm beyond confident that it would not be provided by the original next gen consoles

I use this quote as it points out a truth that should be obvious: Console will always be limited to some degree and while we do the best we can do make the game as good as possible on console, a high end PC will be superior (and way more expensive ). Lower PCs and consoles will run the game nevertheless, so no worries about that.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 3:31 am Just because the original xbone and ps4 will run it doesn't mean they will run it well.. They r saying that the Ryzen is a major leap forward for AMD who in recent years has had difficulties keeping up with the Intel i core series.. But what I was reading would indicate that the Ryzen 8 core is on par with the current gen I core 7.. Everyone who bought it seemed really pleased with its performance so I think I did good

Re: Upgrading for fs19?
That certainly seems to be the case. I’ve used AMD on and off for, well, decades now, so I’m certainly willing to do so again. I’m just curious to see if Intel can actually pull out anything interesting, given that they are focused on their speculative execution security woes at the moment. I figure, given the state of the video card market, their isn’t any harm in waiting a bit longer to order components.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 1:09 pmThey r saying that the Ryzen is a major leap forward for AMD who in recent years has had difficulties keeping up with the Intel i core series.. As for the console, I haven’t played FS extensively on console since ‘13. It’s fine when I can’t get to a PC, but the limited input options and lack of mods like Courseplay make it much more tedious for me once I have a bigger farm operation going, especially if I play on a map with irregular fields. Of course, I suppose FS19 could overcome that, but that seems like a rather tall order. Oh, and then there is the fact that I enjoy have three monitors and head/eye tracking and that really won’t happen on a console!
Re: Upgrading for fs19?
bought the pc a year ago. Ryzen7 1700, 16gb ram, Asus 1060 6gb oc, m2. Storage. Had been better off with a 3200mhz ram over the 2400 crusial ballistix sport i have. fs17 runs from 80 to 120 fps @1080 in most cases so I'm fine, I hope.

Re: Upgrading for fs19?
How will the GTX 1060 3gb run on Fs19? On Fs17 its set on high setting with no problem so safe to say it will be same for 19? Or drop to medium setting? Might upgrade to 6gb from 3gb? Plenty time to save up and get a decent card if necessary

Re: Upgrading for fs19?
It's hard to say for sure but I would anticipate dropping down to medium settings with a 3 gig card.. Hope for the best and expect the worst.. With that said I would save up the money but hold off on actually buying the card until u know if u will need it.. If not then u have hundreds of $ of unallocated funds to spend on something else.. Worst case u order a card.. A few short days and simple installation later and u r back in the game on highest settings
