I may look to buy a new desktop PC for FS19.
Currently using a laptop that I share with my wife (she bought it for her work). It goes pretty well for a laptop but I can certainly see the benefits of a desktop now that I am wanting a bit more power for games like PUBG as well.
Just got to pay for my wedding and honeymoon first! My credit card bill is high enough at the moment haha.
Playing on PS4 and PC.
I7 3.5Ghz, 8GB RAM, GTX960 2Gb graphics.

Farmer/tractor driver in real life.

Only thing i am upgrading as of yet is the CPU. that will be to a i7-700. Pretty sure the RX580 4GB will be sufficient for FS19 on high, as i run FS17 at 60fps on very high custom settings.

I run an unlocked and overclocked Anniversary Intel dual core, GTX 550ti 1GB, 8Gb RAM with Farming Simulator 2017 and at the same time watch a live stream on the other monitor. I am sure we'll still be able to do this with Farming Simulator 2019. But if I can I will upgrade to quad core at some point. As a semi invalid it all takes a lot of time to happen but meantime I don't feel my farming days threatened. I'm not an FPS junkie or chaser, as long as the game plays and is enjoyable nothing else matters

Yea honestly I went overkill with my new rig in terms of fs19 it seems.. But I play voxel based survival games too which r considerably more demanding on a pc so I don't regret it.. I can't wait to get a VR headset

Spec me a PC that's better than a console for $400. Unless you go second hand you won't and at that rate the console is cheaper too.

That's 20% more expensive than you previously stated and second hand, does sales tax apply on top of that?

$479.99 isn't $400 and by the time you add sales tax (7% in my case) it brings the price up to $513.59.

The only thing I might be upgrading is my FS-playing attire.

Gotta be comfortable lounging around on the weekends recovering from work.
