Wow
Wow
I ordered a GTX 1050ti last week and got it a day or 2 ago and played the game with. I set the graphics to auto and it was set to high which was good but I used geforce experience to optimise the settings and the difference is unreal. It changed to very high and most settings are max or near to it. Granted I've only spent a few minutes with those settings but the difference in textures is crazy.

Re: Wow
Yahuh. I went from an old box with a Geforce 210 512MB on Low, to a new system with GTX 1060 3GB on Very High and had the same experience. Even on low it looked ok and was still very fun to play, but maxed out it is amazing.Guil wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 6:35 pm I ordered a GTX 1050ti last week and got it a day or 2 ago and played the game with. Re: Wow
Lol... i upgraded mine almost 2 years ago. Went from dual gtx 290's to a 1070. Vast improvements.
Pc gaming is more expensive than console, but not by much tbh. The initial investment is very high, but just an upgraded video card can renew a old pc extending its life 3+ generations of a console.

Re: Wow
Exact same card I'm running Guil.
It's really not bad considering it's a "budget" card.
I got the ROG Strix version (to match my mobo) and using the Overclocked setting and the game looks absolutely mind blowing.
Especially compared to console!
I'm certainly happy with it and unless GPU prices come down significantly (to around rrp) I won't be upgrading anytime soon.

Re: Wow
No doubt. I had intended to add a second matching GTX1070, but the prices are utterly insulting at the moment, not that I have actually seen one in stock in months.

I just built my new pc after my old one was too slow for my content creation. Poor thing lasted 6 years or so and still sees service on the daily for other things as it still has strong single core performance.

Re: Wow
I just found out that the specs for the above video card surpasses my GTX 760 with its measly 2GB. With the way I use my computer and the games I have, the GTX 1050Ti should be just fine. I was initially looking for the 1060 with 6GB.
