New day, new idea!
So I love to upgrade my tractors to fit new or different wheel setups depending on the task. So could we offer an upgrade depot that stores these tractor upgrades?
Features:
3 depot sizes (Small, Medium, and Large) - placeable objects
- Small features 10 upgrade slots (she'd/barn)
- Medium features 25 upgrade slots (barn)
- Large features 50 upgrade slots (warehouse/barn)
Slot system that shows you the item you are storing
Depot is able to drive in and lift up your tractor for the change of wheels
Visual representation of the items you are storing
Transferable upgrades to multiple equipment
Different models for sized depots
Upgrades selling and buying system modification

Possible additions
Have a mini-game where you install the item (able to be disabled for those who do not wish to partake)

If anyone has something to contribute to this idea, feel free!

Since I nearly took of my first finger in my left hand working to get a tire off a case 310 magnum before I’d rather not partake in that mini game interesting idea though with the shop system

Giants need to lock luxury machines, until you achieve something. For example plowing 1000 ars for a bigger plow.

I have been playing with the idea of adding "XP points" in to the game.
This is a big "trigger" for most gamers ... and you all know how it usually works in games.

Also, this could be combined with "damage" (loss of XP point for crashing / resetting vehicles), loss of XP points for driving over crops.
XP points would also be a good indicator (player skill level) for MP games / motivator for staying in a game without "getting payed" if it adds to your XP.

What do you guys think?

Tacos joking but in reality with the announcement of weeds in FS19, we have a tank/toolbar with burner nozzles setup that we use on our farm for weeds. Very effective. The theory is if you burn the weed down to the root & any seed it could drop, no more weeds in your next crop. It's most effective on crops that you don't need the stubble tillage value for your soil, so crops like alfalfa that put more into the ground than it takes out.
I make jokes that others don't get.

Can think of nothing worse than machines and implements being locked. Having to plow a certain acreage to be allowed a ‘luxury’ plow ?

If you can afford it in game then you should be able to buy anything, as it is now. Last thing I’d want to do is plow a 10ha field with a 3m plow just so I can upgrade. Same as this xp idea. Sorry but the idea of having to level up in fs is terrible imo.

Yeah keeping the game interesting is definitely a big issue if you ask me. Something need to be done in that direction.

I can agree that locked equipment might not be for FS ... (it would be hard to implement on mods anyways).

But the "achievements" we have as of now is just silly!
This could be developed a great deal more ...

I for one would drive a lot more careful if I had a "punishment" for crashing in to things (and similar) ...
