Lead Time for Mod Support Post Launch

How long does it typically take for a healthy amount of mods to be released after a FS game is release?

FS17 was my first in the series and by the time I discovered the series and purchased the game it had already been out for quite a while. I am curious how long it will take after FS 19 is released for a good amount of quality mods to follow.

Quality is a subjective word, iirc mods were released pretty quick after the game launched. Console mods were a little slower but it's the first time mods were available to console users and modders had to learn how to optimize them for console.

It also depends on what modders actually want to do, some FS17 mods will be 'converted' to FS19, others might get a whole overhaul before modders are happy with them again.
