Sprayer speed

Is it just me or does spraying 7 MPH seem awfully slow? And is there a way to be able to spray faster then that? 7 MPH is way to slow to be spraying at least where I’m from. In West Texas we spray anywhere from 15-20 MPH

You can go into the sprayers xml file and change the speed

Well I hope it’s something giants addresses. Spraying you should be able to set your speed to certain point not just be stuck at 7 mph

The only way to speed it up on console is to the cruise control speed glitch. Depending on the top speed of your tractor, it'll start to skip patches in the field.

You could spray / Fertilize at 13+ mph in fs13 not sure why they changed it.

I agree. I think spraying at 7mph seems slow, especially when you can spread fertilizer at 12mph.

Seems the general consensus in real life now is that spraying at slower speeds is of more benefit than spraying at the higher speeds, which I guess is why Giants have adjusted the speed accordingly.

They patched that a few updates ago

I agree. It is slow. Just a personal guess, maybe they were trying to even things between solid fertilizers versus liquid sprayers.
Before the Horsch pack the widest solid fertilizer was 28m wide. (I think) $1600 per 1000l at 12mph.

Whereas the widest liquid sprayer is 36m. $1200 per 1000l at 7mph.

I only heard of and started playing this game in July 2017 so I can't speak for previous FS games.

I like to use the horsch and Massey Ferguson self propelled sprayers, do they work? And also does it work when you are spraying your own fields or only in missions?
