PS4 Problem Deleting Mods

Hi all having trouble deleting some mods when I select them in mods i can delete them but when I load up the game again they reappear any ideas how i can get rid of them?

It's a known bug, I don't think there is a solution for it.

It might work after a few tries, think I read that somewhere..

No been trying for several days they just reappear struggling with space now

Hard reset of the console perhaps?

I have the same issue, 3 or 4 mods that keep reappearing no matter how many times I delete them. And yes, they are consuming space.

Best thing I can suggest is to delete FS17 from the console's hard drive (your in-game saves will not be deleted), then immediately re-download the game and reinstall the mods you want.

Yep what taco said. I had mods that I couldn't uninstall for months so your stuck with them

After trying dozens of different suggested solutions and making a ton of observation I can safely say that it is all about how Giants servers handle the indexing of the mods. I'm guessing new mods and updates for an existing mod just messes up with the indexing and prevents you to complete the deletion process. And it gets much more pesky when it happens with a map. The one and only solution is to keep trying. Because after sometime you will be able to delete them. It can be just a couple of days or it can take over a month. But eventually you will be able to delete.

I still have one very small mod (4mb) that wont delete. I got a few to go away after dozens of uninstalls but afte i got a map that was stuck over a month eating up 11% of my space i reinstalled my game to get it back. Ive even started up maps that said i was missing the mod and to reinstall it only to have reappear when i go back to modhub

The only problem I have is forever removing the bsm hooklift & the farming legend map. Been going on for months.

^^ Untill you are hit by 2 or 3 maps. Thats something you can't live with. I had to uninstall and re-install the entire game just for that reason.

Can u just uninstall the maps. Then download a new map?

Is it a specific mod that won’t delete or does it depend on the user? The two mods I can’t uninstall now is the water tower and the Massey pack ( not the latest one ) maybe as a guide we could compile a list that way if you’re not 100% sure you want that mod you should avoid downloading it??
