Bales with seasons question

So I'm currently playing on American Outback while I believe is not seasons compatible but it still works. I have a seasons GEO that does not snow but if it not seasons compatible there's not a snow mask. I was wondering if this applies to rain too. If I put a hay or straw bale in a building will it still be affected by the rain?

Nope, if there is no seasons mask bales shouldn't rot outside sheds either.
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

There is a version of this map from the FSM-Team. This one is Seasons ready and some minor productions are included.
