John Deere mods for FS17 on consoles?

Post by RODHA »

So, as the John Deere license issue has been resolved, does that mean we might get JD mods on consoles for FS17?

Highly doubt it...it's the biggest selling point for FS19 so why bring it to 17? Don't get me wrong that would great but I'll be shocked

Not to mention that mod releases will thin out quickly...they already have.

Doubtful in my opinion. But so was my opinion on JD being in 19.

I wouldn't release in 17, they need to have something for the 1.5 million people that asked for JD on console to spend their money on. Sells/Marketing that's what pays the Bills at GIANTS.

I think if I put the mod JD to fs17 it would not be an impediment to buy the new fs19 on the contrary you get more excitement to this enthusiasm but the players total is something we ask millions of times even though it sounded rude what you say or as you tell us the dream was fulfilled to us at the console I would pay again for something like this again and again

I think both ways have their chances.
If pc never had JD mods before, keeping the brand out of the game before FS19 would be a logical choice in terms of marketing.
But as pc already has JD, deliberately keeping JD mods from consoles sounds a bit too harsh to me.
I mean why not? It is not new to the game, it is just new for consoles.
Admittedly, it is also new as an official part.
I don't know. May be a good last hurrah for FS17?

Give someone the little finger... they want the whole hand.

We dont even know how and what got licensed. The Partner in this case is JD, and if JD said the licence is for FS19+ only then its that.

Yup! Who cares if we JD for FS17? I'm ready to jump fully on board the FS19 hype train now. 17 is just something to get me by until November. :gamer:
