Also seasons will need to have been converted, or added to the base game, or it would seem like a step back!
^^This guy gets it^^

I'm telling ya... pre-ordering is one of the reasons we get buggy games on release day. If we would hold companies accountable by not purchasing a game until it is a finished product, we would have higher-quality releases. Just a thought.

Also, a different shade of green tractors and graphics tweaks are not as exciting to me as seeing what game-play changes they have implemented. Seasons, competent AI, realistic physics, etc... will be the deciding factor as to whether or not I continue with the series.

Pre ordering doesn't have nothing to do with buggy game. all that pre order is that you make sure you get a copy of the game when it comes out on the day of release. I don't preorder games and sometimes I have to wait till the next batch of games comes in within a week or less. so that is all the pre order is is to make sure you get that game on the day of release.

The poll needs one more option. The "I think I will sit this one out" option. All the Deere John fanboy crying and drama has soured me on the whole thought of FS19. I'll see what's up with FS20 or 21. And before any of you Deere John's mouth off I own an 8400R. "Buy green buy the best, plow a mile and hoe the rest"

Seriously I’d pay a pretty penny to get this game right now

If it's FS17 with a JD and Cotton I might not even buy it, there will need to be improvements to the game and especially to the animal husbandry.

I'm definitelly waiting for some discount. The initial price on PS4 is quite high, I expect a lot of bugs in the beggining (just like FS17) plus I'll wait for some mods and mod maps. Last but not least I'll be considering how big of a step forward FS19 is compared to FS17. And no, FS19 has John Deere, is not big step forward for me. ;-)

Maybe this has a lot more to do with financial situations than I initially thought. I get the feeling that price point is a big thing for a lot of you, for me tho, preorder of FS17 complete edition for $70-80 was the best value per hrs played of any video game I've ever purchased. They could add cotton to FS17 & resale it to me again & the hrs I'll put in would still be worth it. The difference is I can afford it. So I think it has less to do with bugs & this/that & more to do with price point/customer base. Just an observation.

And this is a good example as I have ever seen, why gaming companies release buggy unfinished games.

Most likely as they need a boost in budget. Look at fifa there are always bugs to start off with and they pretty much just reskin of the last Fifa.

And besides, there is no testing team that can find bugs as well as hundreds/thousands of gamers.

Amen. Especially when it seems like a quarter of their fan base are dedicated to finding & extorting said bugs. I genuinely have no idea what bugs they're talking about on FS17, I've played from launch without any issues. Maybe I just got lucky.

There were a lot of bugs early on with the silage bunkers on sosnovka and then a patch which made the workers even worse...didn’t stop me playing so I’ll agree with you on that. Still people are highly critical of workers but you just have to learn how they behave

Kids now days complaining about bugs in there video games..lol When I turned 14 yrs old my dad bought a brand new Hesston 4790 w/cutter & said, I want you to figure out how to pay for this thing. Bugs? Anyone remember BEFORE Fieldstar? You don't even know what bugs are.. If FS were actually a simulation you would quit the first time you had to reach the grease zerc on the plunger carriage. This game is awesome at what it is, just drive some cool equipment, harvest some crops,& feed some animals. And at the end of the day, it's a business to make money, no different than Apple releasing an iPhone that's not ready. If your not about the money, you may as well file Chapter 13. Now get off my lawn.
