Grass fields

Is there any advantage in planting and growing grass rather than using the ones provided also is there a way to make the grass pure green instead of having the yellow/green stuff through it ?

Do not use a Tedder use a windrower to put it in a row then bail it up or use forge wagon to collect

As for the planting of more grass fields, it depends on what your doing, and of course the map it's self. I'm about 51 hours ( if memory serves) into Thornton farm and need quite a bit of grass fields for my dairy and sheep. The farm could do with a second silo, I have to use one down at the Bio plant as a second farm silo .

I greatly increase my yield by fertilizing my grass fields.

If you require grass/hay/silage and any grass fields you already have aren't up to it, plant grass in any of your crop fields. Won't make a difference to your yield from one field to another- AFAIK just fertilising it is the only way to increase the yield

Not sure what you mean by pure green?

^^He means normal grass, not hay. You can use fertilizer with planted grass, which heavily increases yield

Yeah the grass/flowers bothered me too, because I've never seen it grown anywhere, only alfalfa or Timothy. But it just is what it is for console users. Maybe FS21.

Actually on that note, perhaps they could do a alfalfa dlc, I mean horses love it, cows/sheep love it. Could even have a feedlot sell point(think enhanced barn sale) to bring the hay equipment more gameplay. Hay is a massive market in the US.
