Its hard to see the edge at night.

I seen it on farms around where I grew up, portable floodlights where used a lot for late year farm work when daylight is short. Hooked up to the back of their offroader for placement.

I was just doing some night harvesting with the MF 9380. The field wasn't dry enough to harvest until after sunset. With the work lights on I could see the entire header with no problem. As long as you see that and whats ahead, I'm not sure why you would need side lights.

I don't think I've used the NH at night. I'd find that a problem as well. On the MF 9380 I was using the 35ft header which might have helped a bit. I might have run into the same problem if I'd been using the larger draper. Unfortunately, I can't think of decent solution, so I'm no help to you.

I know that the ight settings is different on modded maps.
But if you are having problems on say GCV ... that would be easy to fix by adjusting the screen settings.

When I say easy ... that is not always true.
Adjusting a screen has a lot more to it than one might think.

There is actually a setting in the game menu for brightness ... options / general / brightness.
Setting goes from 0.5 up to 2.0 with increments of 0.1.
Mine is set to 1.0 (might have been the default setting).

Actually you did help. I may try using the shorter header at night.
