So I see one of the giants team has disclosed on discord that they don’t have any agreement with claas for fs19. Now is this a bluff to throw us off the scent for farm con in July. Or do we think claas is dead in the water for fs19.?

Generally they won't flat out lie about something to keep it from being revealed. Sounds dead to me. I hope I'm wrong but oh well.

They will right up to the moment it's announced, that's not to say I know anything but who knows.

I hope not... I was REALLY hoping for CLAAS.... see a lot of that and Fendt about here..

They sort of did during the teaser trailer. Back when the entire community discovered that it was a Deere in the trailer, Giants replied saying that it was not a Deere. So it's possible it could happen again.

Lisertan even changed up some JD evidence to screw with everyone back then lol
But I haven't seen anything in the discord today about claas oO

To me it was all in the wording people would get done when lis would shoot down their jd hopes but I started to notice he’d start indirectly saying no or trying to coyly say not yet

Since JD is in, so maybe Claas will be interested too and get in touch with Giants, time will tell more ^^

CnC probably would have some kind of exclusivity rights over Claas so they have something over FS. How true that is, I couldn't say.

I've scoured these forums up and down for the slighted hint of evidence over the past few releases. I dont think I've every come across and outright lie from Giants. The usual avoidance or perfectly crafted answer, yes. If someone from Giants did say they didn't have an agreement with Claas, I'll take it as that. That could mean they don't, or it could mean they don't...YET.

One thing I know for fact is that the talk last year of a deal with Claas was a rumour and nothing more.

Why would they announce one and not the other?

It would sustain the hype if they announced one at E3, then another at Farmcon, for example. It stretches the hype

So they told the people at Claas that they would be announced second and they were OK with that?
