My own horse Norweigan fjord horse is trained to pull carts and sledges. Im sure he could pull plough too, but hes 20-years old so no need to put him to do that

It would ve nice if we could use horses. In Finland there is still working horse tests/contests for the Finnhorse. They use old time collars etc. They pull the sledge with weights, plough the fields, drive carts etc. One horse can pull over 1200kg of weigth in sledge.

Yep I've heard mushers use very similar voice commands to teamsters and horsemen . Hey Ragman have seen fijord horses skidding logs out of some fearsome looking country , tough horses
