After doing field 47 wheat with the MF27. The old and slow.is old and gone!!
field 17 takes my case 1660 with 14ft head around an hour to get done if it goes right. Thats 3.8(?)ish hectares. 47 is what 11.2 or so isnt it, I can see why it would take a bit.

Yep 11.2. I got around 200,000L of wheat off that field.
I was using the 47,000L trailer to take the wheat to the silo.
Im glad I talked myself into leasing the NH CR10 to finish the year.
I had field 46 with corn. It would have took forever with the MF27.

And im wondering now about the solid vs spray fertilizer neverending debate.
Used to be for 2000L solid was plus $800 over 2000L liquid.
With notreadys bigbag 2000L of solid is minus $800 from 2000L liquid.
Are yall spreading or spraying LoneOak??

I always spread, I would rather trade money for how fast I can do a job especially on bigger fields. Its 7mph vs 12 in most cases and having a worker in the field for less time seems to be saving me money.

When I started out this map, I had a bit of a shock from the size of the equipment available. Specifically, the small size. ;-) On the European maps I played before, that kind of starting equipment seemed perfectly normal, but after spending four or five hours plowing field 45 my first day, I decided I needed to upgrade. Taking out a few hundred thousand in loans (I'm playing on Seasons), I've managed to get to the point where I'm happy for starting out. I still have some of the starting equipment left, but I think I sold a good half of it to upgrade.

I still have one of the 1455's, it's front loader and attachments, the original semi truck (though, I traded the trailer up for a Wilson 36), the water tanker, solid fertilizer spreader, tedder and windrower. (The mowers as well, but I plan to sell those as soon as I get a little bit more money for better ones.)

My new equipment:

A snowblower
A cheaty modded version of the PP20 auger wagon that can basically work with anything. (Basically for when I'm too lazy to shovel manure or silage.)
A 600S seed drill.
An Amazone Cayron 200 plow
A John Deere 7030 (upgraded engine)
A Lizard 34 m fertilizer sprayer
A Kuhn square bailer
A Valtra T series (default engine) (I think this may be my favourite tractor in the game)
A McHale square bale wrapper (not very happy with this, may switch)

I don't have any combines (though, looking at my vehicles XML as I dictate this I see I forgot to sell one of my corn headers), as I figure I will lease once harvest season comes along.
