We can give the animals water, but can we give the crops water?

We can give the animals water, but why cant we give the crops water like in real life?

Can we possibly see watering the crops in an upcomming fs game or mod?
It would be great if it works like vertalizing and have an option to turn on/off that you need to do it 3 times (like vertalizing)

What is your opinion about this?

You mean irrigation? That would require a lot of changes to the fundamentals of the game. All the maps I play on get lots of rain so I don't need it.

There are mods that water crops, but I don't think it has any effect. just for show.

Wait until you try watering rice in real life then you want be asking for irrigation in a game you want to relax in

Lot's of places don't normally need irrigation, not a real 'necessary' feature yet.
But in combination with something like seasons in the game (maybe some dry summers), this might be interesting later on.
