If you are playing the game on Windows or macOS you actually don‘t need a mod for this: viewtopic.php?f=920&t=105805&p=815501&h ... on#p815501

On the farm I’ve worked on using case ih equipment if we’re running from sun up till sun down have to refill them with diesel every morning as we’d have to stop midday to refill them def (diesel exhaust fluid) lasts for several days before we have to refill it when we’re harvesting however we top off everything starting with the combines combines use large amounts of fuel personally I think the default sitting for fuel use is still low compared to what I’ve seen in real life at least with case ih equipment
Ps. Sorry Texas but I wasn’t sure if you meant in game or real life

Is def the same as adblue I wonder? It's basically urea that's injected into the exhaust to reduce emissions.

Yes, this feature indeed is idiotic. Typical use case scenario: I'm doing something. Pretty much whatever. Helper C is blocked by object. So I switch to this vehicle turn it around and return to my original one... with it's engine off only to receive another message like Helper D has a full grain tank. Hop - put a trailer close to him and quickly back to my original machine.... with it's engine off again. And again and again.

Based on GIANTS opinion in this matter ... having these features (link) as a part of the base game is probably out of the question ... :blushnew:

Doesnt that just save your vehicle status when you save and leav ethe game? Not sure if that would do anything about keeping an engine running when you tab to the other side of the map.
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

ye, but with that mod you can restart your game, find an engine running at your farm and you'd still think: what the hell was I doing? xD
