I deleted some game saves and a few more maps and that worked.

It isn't really though.
Cities skylines is 500mb
Skyrim is 5gb
Big difference in space there.

And do you know, Skyrim get on Sony PS4 only 1GB. So what, standard is 4GB. Options seems to be individual.

When you have to uninstall mods to download new ones means it isn't!

The point is, we don"t really use all mods ingame. First why FS have to save mods ingame activated, if we don't use them. Second why the space is limited, when we are limited by slots. I mean, let us download as many mods we want, because ingame we use only a few and it would be enough to save only the mods we buy ingame. We don't use 4GB ingame!

Sony allows 1gb for skyrim then you say the standard is 4gb. It obviously isn't, 1gb and 4gb are not the same so there is no standard, like I said in my post you answered with this quote. If 4gb was standard then every game with mods would give you 4gb of space for mods

I think you know the meaning of the words standard and option? Standard is max. 4GB reserved space you can find it with many games on xbox one. This doesn't means, each game use this space. It is only reserved. Skyrim is something special, not standard. Skyrim was always special for Microsoft. Obviously not every game get 4GB because of the restrictions like RAM. Go on look at your games on xbox and you find standard reserved space about 4GB. And sure, you will find others. No problem. But this shows the problem, why we don't understand, why we are restricted. We don't use sll mods at the same time and we all don"t use all activated mods ingame and don't need to have them in the save. That is the point. In one savegame we use with one big map and a few big mods much less than the offered 4GB. Let us play.

I tend to agree. I have over 1,500 hours on FS17 and my mods are at 68%. I only play one map at a time though. Some people like to jump between multiple maps. That's when it becomes an issue.
FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!

It is kind of a big deal though, especially when my favorite maps came at the end of the games lifecycle. Lone Oak and Welker take a lot of space, and the only way i could offset set it is to eliminate maps i put a lot of work into.

I mean i refuse to rid MVR, so i had to rid Giants Island, American Outback, and Thunder Valley. I don't even use the animal or forestry stuff, so i never downloaded any of that. I had to rid some trucks i don't use, but i'd like to have, and Combines. Tough decisions lol. I don't have Xbox X, but i would think maybe on those higher end consoles maybe they'd have more room.

As long you dont delete the game save you wont lose the progress, you just wont be able to reload the save until you reinstall the map, I do this constantly because of the mod space limit

I was able to have twice the amount of mods installed on my xbox than I currently habe. Once I installed my external 1tb drive, the amount of mods I could have was cut in half.
