South Mountain Creamery

Post by Random Adventure »

Big thanks to Blacksheep Modding for the South Mountain Creamery Farm map. It’s beautiful!

If anyone is interesting in seeing the Real South Mountain Creamery, take a look at this video.

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for sharing that video. I only had a quick drive around the map and a look at the farm, but I think BSM did a superb job on this one. I'm not too terribly far from Maryland. If I'm ever up that way, I'm going to stop in for a tour and some ice cream.
FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!

I lived in Maryland for my first 30-odd years. Had some family friends with horses and a bit of farmland in this area, spent some time there as a child. Map has captured the feel of the area, brings back some good memories. Bravo BSM, well done.

Best friend lives about 6 miles from there, has some of their product in his fridge right now! Will be interesting to get his take after he plays a bit on this one.

DId you notice, in the video at 1m 32s just to the right of center, there is a cow walking into the shed. Poor thing is injured as it is limping.

Lameness can be a big problem with most domesticated animals not just dairy cows , sheep especially are very prone to numerous sources of lameness , most livestock farmers are very aware of this problem and most deal with it quickly and efficiently , nothing impacts more on an animals welfare or performance than being lame , I'm sure the guys at SMCF saw this cow and dealt with it *thumbsup*

I agree. It was not a commentary of the Dairy workers just something which my eye was drawn to as I watched the video and thought I would point out.

A friend of mine was at the real place this past Sunday. Had lots of fun with his kids, also said the ice cream was amazing!

Looks like the Fendt could use a wash :)

Awesome map!! I just downloaded it. I'm looking for the machinery sell point. I can't find it anywhere, or will I have to sell my machinery through the menu?

If I remember correctly, I think it's on the right side of the store.
