I'd like to see some wheel rakes in addition to the rotary rakes they already have in game.

This isn’t a request thread guys, we’re talking about windshield wipers...

I wonder if its just "effects" or if it will wipe away the rain? Since rain wont go through buildings and vehicles. On another note, i wonder what other goodies they have implemented in game? Besides for what we know now.

I don't believe they would talk about it so much if it was only for effect.

BigC92 I believe we will still have big big news concerning this.

From playing other games with more realistic rain and working wipers I noticed that this scenario may cause some lag.
There is a lot for the game to render (especially if you want visual raindrops on your windscreen that the wipers remove).

It would be a nice feature but if I risk getting lag I would rather not have it in the game.
Not really a big issue though as I usually skip time when it is raining ...

Yes, take the animation and effects to far and there will be an issue. But, if they do a small, simple rain pattern on the windows for the wiper animations to mean something I could see it working. Kind of like SCS does on their trucking simulators. There isn't much, and it doesn't look anything near real life. But, the animation and effect is there.

I’m sure if they went through all the trouble of getting the front ones to work they’ll do the rear ones as well

I agree with you red, I hope we get to turn them on manually. I hate auto features (most of the time). Manual Ignition had to be one of my most loved features. Turning on the tractor, letting it idle to run the chippers, etc... and jump out and continue loading.
