Don't get me wrong, the trucks in fs17 is more than sufficient for me. For me this comes down to what brands I commonly see where I live. A lot of farms here may have an old volvo or scania flatbed truck to haul equipment around.

But I dont think GIANTS can have a license on a whole bunch of brands just to please everybody.

But It would be cool though..

If the semi has enough power to get me and whatever it is im pulling up a hill, im fine with it, regardless of brand. All im saying is in game, i don't know about in real life, i can't drive semis.

Well I've driven quite a few different brands/models of trucks and my favorite is the KW W9. Peterbilt 379 or 389 models look good but I cant stand how they have the clutch pedal going into the floor. Volvo imo are stuff. The dashes plastic and rattles like all heck after 200K miles. The 2 trucks from BsM are the only ones I use now because of the high hp for going up hills.

Mercedes truck and bus and Freightliner trucks may both be owned by Daimler, but they are still individual companies that need to be bargained with individually.

its like saying do a deal with Exor N.V. to get Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, CNH Industrial and Ferrari products.
