De Terra Italica / Cleanliness / and pigs

Post by lefe1 »

Just checking to see if anybody else is having a problem with the cows cleanliness and selling pigs. The cows cleanliness allways stays at %100 I never cleaned the cows trough area in the 17 hours that I've been playing. and with the pigs I sold the pigs since day one of playing, but everytime I get back on the game to play I allways have 1 pig. I sold that 1 pig probably 10 times. Thanks

Same by me.
Sold every animal in the beginning. When you load your savegame you have 1 each.cow, pigs, sheep.

Yes the cows always have 100% cleanliness
Thats good! please don't fix this!

Good to know there must be a way in maps that the animals don't make dirt. *thumbsup*

Really nice map! And the clean cows is the best bug ever!

Tested the animal bug 5 times now. Sold all, save and load the savegame.
Allways get one cow, pig and sheep!
But only when sold all. When save with one each, you have the same after loading. Don't get plus 1 than. :zunge: :biggrin2:

Save and load again, than it should work.

Since I use a shovel the problem never came back!

The first time i gave the water to the pigs i opened the gate and entered with the tractor and the water tank. After i got close enough to the pigs trough, i discovered that the trigger is outside the pigsty.
Probably playing FS17 on De Terra Italica or Estancia Lapacho, with a MF 600 by BlackSheep-Modding or one of the tractors from the Farming Classics' pack by Dogface.
Or maybe i'm playing FS19 on Campaign of France or ItalianRiceXL with a FIAT 1300 and a Fiatagri 180-90 by Peppe978.

This map is really beautiful!

Real Mediterranean feel to it. I never saw anything like this before. Quite unique.

Also, I was surprised that almost nobody covered this map in Let's Play. Frithgar did in timelaps and Simul8 did 3 episodes like a year ago.

I have been following this map for along time and it has undergone a huge changes every few months and this is the simplest version.

I found out several bugs on this map and I will go a map review in a few days. There are some invisible collisions like the one in sugar refinery, do not use creator tools on this map as the field boundaries are really weird, cows are always on 100% clean, and unlike previous versions you cannot load the fertilizer in to the silo.

Anyway I made 18 or so episodes Let's Play if anybody is interested.

Hope it helps.

I think Mr Sealyp is considering starting one as he finished his Sussex Farm let’s play and mentioned that he may move to Italy.

I stopped as I need to change the map and some small issues were a bit annoying.

First of all the map is to big for my taste. But looks so good. I believe it has a real Mediterranean feel yo it. Even more so then Tuscan map.

I love the map but the bug and issues should be resolved. :)

I liked the look of it but didn’t start playing, then Oberlausitz came out and I got hooked on that one, relatively small fields and a smaller map for a change 👍🏻

A thing that i don't like at all is that the water ponds around the map can't be used to fill up the tanks, it bugs me up because it's unrealistic as i live in Tuscany (one of the regions the map is based on) and it isn't a region where it lacks of rivers, creeks and water pumps from which you can get water from.

Maybe if the map gets an update we can get real water instead of that white one that we have now. Maybe they can add some water fountains or water pumps around the map.

Fred that is a good point. I did not test all the rivers as most of the canals were to steep to comfortably take the water from them but I found that water hose in the yard was quite convenient.

Fred since you are from Tuscany would you say that the feel of the map is authentic for your home region? I spent a lot of time all around Mediterranean especially Italy and I believe that the textures, forests and fields are quite authentic.

Thanks.

And then you for your input. I will include that in a map review as soon as I make it. :)

As for the feel i have to say it's really authentic and when i drive one of my tractors through the little roads, or near one of the little houses surrounded by all the corn, the sunflowers and the wheat fields i feel so familiar with the environment and near at home, where usually in summer it's full of corn fields. Even driving in the courtyard reminds me the old pigsy of my father's uncle, all made with red-ish bricks and terracotta. After all, i'm pretty sure the map creators live in North-middle Italy like me, between Emilia-Romagna,Toscana,Abruzzo and in one of the other 17 regions that compose the territory.
It's a pleasure to share such thoughts with other people and i hope you will like them. Cheers!
