Oh The Possibilities- Toro Outcross

Post by FarmingRemasterd »

Hey guys...so we all know utvs are going to be making their way into fs 19. so knowing that...have u ever wanted a utv that you can do more with than just haul stuff around? well....the awnser lies here...https://www.toro.com/en/golf/outcross/outcross-9060 check this out. it has 3 pt and loader capibilitys. and i think it would be really cool if it made its way into FS. it wouldnt be doing fieldwork but it could do smaller stuff. Tell me what do you all think of this idea....BTW Im BIASED due to the fact i have 2 Toro machines i use that i love to death.

IDK, has a lot of tool options but the small wheels seem to limit it's range

I'm not expecting the UTV's use in the game to amount to much if they're only available as bonus vehicles. I suspect they're little more than alternatives to the standard pick-up trucks.

It would have been nice if you could share one in multiplayer (as well as any vehicle with an extra seat, like the passenger script some PC mods have for multiplayer) and transport your dog around too. I suggested it in their Discord for the next version of FS, but imagine it would take a fair bit of work for it to get it implemented, so I wouldn't count on it.

This is very true, I don’t think they will serve much purpose, maybe I can see it fitting into smaller gaps around field boundaries which would be a clear advantage over a truck.

They can be used to pull trailers I’m pretty sure, but remember, in fs17 the pick ups were setup to tow trailers but there were none in the base game

I'm sure it would be modelled for 19 at some point if there's enough demand.

As for the machine itself, I like it. Pretty industrial looking, though I think it's usefulness would be limited. In game, there's not a huge amount you can do with ~60hp. Perhaps a bit of testing, or a small, single rower.
