Would anybody be able to tell me if there is a specific place for cutting down trees in this game?

And if trees grow back the same place they were saw down?

And if you need to remove the stumps in order for them to grow back?

In he iOS version, you can cut down the pine trees. They will grow back in place. If you remove the stumps, nothing will grow back.

I suppose the 3ds version is alike.
