As far as I know, the roller resets the ground to its original state. So, it should be whatever the map maker used as the base. I mean, It shouldn't be changing with crop type. Besides sometimes I get a dirt road when I use the roller. Which map are you on?

GCV. The state after harvesting potatoes is different than the state after cultivating.Same field.

You can also make grass grow if you plant grass then use the roller but if you don’t have grass planted and use the roller it’ll just be a flat green found that out on lone oak
