Jim Bob wrote: Mon Sep 24, 2018 2:35 am Id have to say it's the Case Puma - not that expensive, great power band (up to 270bhp), huge selection of wheel options including narrows for crop destruction, can be fitted with a front loader and has a much cheaper daily maintenance cost than the other tractors around it.
The Puma is great, but that was a tractor I really over used in '13 on the 360.Also I guess I should have clarified I meant the lower end of the tractor scale. It is the only vehicle I own in my seasons playthrough and has done everything well though I need no 'big' equipment on there.
While I am here, thanks so much for your vids' it was you that inspired me to mess about and make my own!!

I'm glad you enjoyed them and good luck if you decide to stick with it long-term. It's a lot of work to start a channel and keep it going in the face of low viewing numbers - it can get very demoralising after a while, but if you consistently put out quality content and persevere, you can eventually establish yourself.

I hit 5k subscribers tonight after 18 months of hard graft and that milestone is a huge reward for me considering how long it took me to gain any traction

No, I don't monetise my content

Congrats mate you have earned it. An old mate of mine has lived off youtube for years, I have seen how much work he put in to get 600k subs, and he now basically lives on US time too even though he in Hampshire. I just like making the vids, feedback and chats is all I 'want'.
You always seem to be playing the game and enjoying it, some others seem to be 'producing content' because they have to.
And respect for keeping the ads off too. No idea why you own so much plant on your seasons farm though :o: , but one of the great things about this game is that a player can always do it their way and make it work!

One of the things I enjoy is that there aren’t adverts littered through the videos. At the beginning and end don’t bother me but some people have them every 10 minutes

I started out as a Valera as the original post began. Big factor was the reverse cab option, great for mowing grass. But also the MF 7700 and 8700 are also great values and have ran the cartoons off of many of them. Then as the mod tractors came out I shifted to the low cost Fent's. Today I think the Fent 1050 gives the best options and HP for the money.

Another way you can compare tractors is by price ÷ bhp = how much you are paying for each bhp. K-700 on 17 is under £€$360 per bhp, and back in 13 it was £€$79.55 per bhp. Terra variant price per bhp is about half of quadtrac but have very close bhp.
Playing games because they are fun. Watching movies because they are entertaining.
Long live plug n play.

Vanilla, yeah, if agree with the N-Series and the Puma.

If you're talking mods, the one mod that sticks out to me (that is available for all platforms), is the Fiat-Agri 180-90. Fantastic machine.

I love that N series, but usually end up going with the Puma since I don't think I've ever seen a Valtra in my neck of the woods. One of the things I did like about all the Valtra models was that you could select the color for them. I thought that the green and yellow was closest us console guys were going to get to having a Deere in game lol.

Now with mods, the Deutz D80 for grass work, Fiat Agri for yard/light field work (and that amazing sound!), and the old style Fendt Vario 900 are my go to start up machines. That old Puma is still putting it's work in on Lone Oak, though.

Seeing Valtras all over the place over here. Maybe they do a good deal but they seem to have sold a lot to the contractors that maintain the motorways here, doing hedge cutting, digging, mowing alongside 6 lanes of 70mph traffic. all a nice mango colour too!
Deutz D80 is a great odd-job, towing tractor (for smaller farms) and yes I love the FiatAgri sound.

Random fact for the day. When Fiat Agri bought out Ford tractors and New Holland in the 90's they kept making the same tractor in the three different brands, then they sensibly gave up on that and kept the F.A. logo, the New Holland brand name, and painted them blue for Ford. How very inclusive.!
