Be better if traffic went a wee bit faster or if u cauld adjust it

Agreed. It is downright goofy having traffic move at a steady 20kph and needing to pass everyone in your tractor. I believe traffic speed is set in the map files. There are some maps that have much faster, more realistic traffic speeds. Tazewell County is one that I recall.

default traffic speed is 30 km/h, some maps set it to a higher value. Problem is, that the detection range is still the same, so faster vehicles tend to crash into you, if you move to slow or stand still.

This is not true on Tazwell. The stop triggers on traffic has been adjusted to compensate for the speed increase.
