About rain/snow in FS17...

When it rain or snow in FS17 there are some fluffy things floating around close to the ground. They look like small white clouds moving in the same direction as the rain. Almost like white tumbleweed bouncing around. I never understood why they were there, since it looked unrealistic to me. Has there ever been a mod that removed those fluffy clouds so that rain/snow is just that: rain and snow?
