Multiplayer missions

So I mainly play online with friends and we love the game but we were wondering why there are no missions available in multiplayer.

Because 16 players doing missions would basically be endgame in a day.

What if there was an option to only doing 1 or 2 missions a day or even week, just to break up the monotony and give a little boost to starting a new farm.

I play with just a few friends and we would love to be able to play missions at times. Not trying to break the game, just have something else to do while we grow the business.
