Can you UN-BAN a friend on Ps4

I accidently banned my friend on ps4 when he Was asking to join. Now he cant join even if i invite him???

I know that with FS15 on the xbone if you end the multiplayer session and restart it a banned player can then join. Unfortunetaley not encountered that problem on fs17 so not sure if it is the same. I'm sire the ban is just for that current session. Unless of course you selected permanently ban user. Then I doubt there is a way to fix it unless there is an option hidden somewhere when you are on multiplayer to remove users from a banned list

I think I read, that it is a 24-hour ban.

P.S. I really wouldn't recommend contacting GIANTS ever, they won't respond and never do.
