XBox 1 Multiplayer Question

Post by 6WLivestock »

So my younger brothers want to know if it is possible to connect 2 xbox 1's by an internet cord, and then for them to both play FS17 together (seperate disks, obviously) I figured this was the best place to ask, and I didn't really want to try to search the forums for an answer, so any help on whether or not it's possible and if it is, how to set it up, would be great.

Thanks in advance!

With the 360 it used to be possible to connect multiple consoles through plugging them into a switch. That might still be possible with the Xbone, but the multiplayer aspect of the game would probably need to go through XBLive.

Either way, just plugging an ethernet cable between the two won't work.

If possible run to Ethernet cables, your modem/router or what ever you want to call it will have a few ports on the back. As long as you use separate Ethernet cables, both have Xbox live and both have the game (like you have ) then there will be no problem. Me and my son play together frequently :)
