I cannot join my friends server he purchased.

Hi there,

My friend bought a server which he is renting and we are both on PC, he bought the game through steam and I got it through the GIANTS software website with a CD key(don't know if this affects it?). Anyway his server is on the Continental Europe region, he can see it yet I cannot. We both have the exact same filters and we are searching for the same game name. He sees 1700+ servers yet I only see 200.

If anyone knows why this would be or if I am doing something incorrectly then please let me know.

Are you updated to the latest patch version? If so, is your friend to? You both have to on the same patch to be able to play together.
