Twitch Overlay

I am part of a group that live streams on twitch. I am not the host. I play on a single monitor Mac. Anyone know how to do a twitch chat overlay so I can see what is being said in the twitch chat while in game?

I'm sure if you Google it you can find programs to install that would do that.

Also, if you have a tablet or not using your phone just open up the stream and put it on the "Chat Only" setting.

Your best option for that would be to use a second monitor if possible, if not so as TheGhostGG has said and open a tablet or phone to your stream. The twitch overlay that you see on streams is not actually showing over the game window itself but it is a window in the broadcast tools that is being used to show the footage .
