Dedicated server

Can anyone help? Rented a dedicated server.At the moment it is still pending with server provider.Until it has changed from pending to live/connected will players wanting to join the game on the dedicated server not be able to see it?

they wont be able to see the server untill its active,if it was me i would send your provider a support ticket to get this resolved

Thanks for the reply. I now have dedicated server activated. For other players to join the sever do I need to set anything up in the settings on the game and/or the server provider for them to access game? In the game settings there is a port number already in there,do I use this or do I use the port number that the server provider has given? This is the info

FTP IP: 185.16.85.204
FTP Port: 8821
