Run different companies

Hey everyone,

I am new to farming simulator but me and a couple of friends are considering to buy the new release in a couple of days.
We want to play with each other on a server but don't want to work together, is it possible to run different companies?
It would be awesome if we can contest to run the best farm, my apologies if there is clear information about it somewhere but I couldn't find it.

Yes you can have up to 4 different/competitive farms on a map.

Yes you can, actually up to 8 farms...was in the stream today....
