Multiplayer on 2 xbox on the same network

Hi,
Any ideas how we can play multiplayer on 2 xboxes on the same network?
We just get an error and cannot join server for second xbox, even though we can see the game in the multiplayer list?
Is there a LAN option? Why is this so difficult to achieve? Should be a simple thing to play a game with my son. We could not get it to work on Simulator 17 either. Any advise would be great. 2 xboxes, 2 tv's one network. My son is on my family account with his own username. He uses my xbox live and games. Every other game we play together we have no issues.

I’m having the same issue. We just bought another Xbox and a second copy of fs19

We are playing on the same internet network but with 2 copies of fs19,
Do I need another internet line ran to my house to get it so my daughter and I can play together

Same here, except we've got 2 different accounts.
This still doesn't work...
Any help would be much appreciated.
