Map not available.

I have a map I want to play on in MP, but when I go to create a new multiplayer game, the map I want to use is not in the maps list. I have a couple of maps that won't show up on the maps list.
Is there a reason why this would be?

Map is not MP compatible?
In modDexc.xml

is what would prevent it to show up in MP.
