No Servers

After adding some mods to play on a friends server i was unable to find any servers and im not sure why i have all the same mods as my friend has and his game pulls up servers. Mine shows none what do i do to fix my game? It works with some or no mods and after a certain amount of mods in my mods folder my game doesnt show any servers.
