We been able to fix the Steam issue with the help from Valve.
The multiplayer now is fully working again.

All of my friends are on PlayStation and I am on Xbox One when I try to search up their game I can’t find it the cross play switch is on but their game does not show up. Is cross play bugged.

Similarly, crossplay from PS4 to PC doesn’t work for me. Judging from the many similar reports across various forums, it sure looks to me like crossplay in general isn’t working.
