Multiplayer connection error

Hello we are trying to play multiplayer at home with an Xbox running FS2022 and a PC running FS2022 (Epic Download)
The farm is hosted on the Xbox and the PC can see the farm listed and request to join.
The request is accepted on the Xbox, which then says the PC has joined the server.
After about one minute the Xbox reports that the PC has left the server.
After request to join the Xbox is accepted the PC shows syncronising data, it reaches 99% then reports that the connection has been lost.
The PC can join other games listed both PC and Xbox hosted games.
But our Xbox cannot find our PC listed, if the farm is hosted on our PC.
When the PC searches for the Xbox the farm is listed with a house symbol next to it, all other farms show globe symbols.
Is the problem related to the fact that the Xbox and PC are on the same Wifi router in our house?
Have tried many times on different days to join.
Have not found anything online or in forum to help.
Have emailed Giants but just get a generic reply saying they are busy and to ensure the PC is running the latest update - 1.2.0.2, which it is.
